i’ve been m.i.a this week and i apologize! The beginning of my week was shitsville where as per Murphy’s Law, everything that could possibly go wrong, absolutely did. Resulted in a bit of a blogging disconnect.
Hung out with my mom today, which was such a blast. Seems we have less and less time to hang out, so when we do get the chance, i feel extra lucky to be able to spend the time together. We popped into zara somewhere along the way and i snatched up the cat print dress, pictured on the left. It’s an easy to wear summer piece, with a needless to say miu miu ss10 inspired pattern (irresistible!) and the colour is one of my wardrobe faves.
Speaking of miu miu, there’s a Miuccia Prada designer marathon on Fashion Television right now and while i’m loving the flashback on miu miu/prada collections…i honestly don’t understand why everything on FT is always sooo dated?!

100% agree with outdated FT! I had the exact same thought just the other date as they were showing Chanel '09 Spring. Amazing pieces.. but we've seen them.

i'm feeling the same way, so not in the mood for blogging. i loved this post. i wish i could get my hands on the swallow tank but i did by the cat dress. we can be twins, lol. i also got some gorgeous floral pants at zara too. hopefully tuesday i can get time to blog and post them.
i've been bust and so unmotivated lately plus,
kev. (my guy) crashed his bicycle and destroyed his left wrist (he's left handed) + he has a black eye and scraps all on his left side (face, body etc.) so i/m nursing him. i wish he'd go to the doctor though b/c i think his hand/wrist is broken. frustration!
FT is owned by CTV now.

OMG!!! This is exactly the dress i was talking about in my previous comment!!! lol lol we most definitely ARE connected somehow! haha Although for some reason i was convinced it was a romper when i saw it in the look book! If you don't mind though, i might still go looking for it
Hope this week was better for you – and ah man, can i ever relate to your murphy's law statement. I've experienced the exact same thing in the past 2 weeks… although thank the lord – and i hope this is the case for you as well – i've had a major 180 and everything seems to be going great now
Can't belive i missed the Miuccia marathon on FT, although i'm not surpised cause i had absolutely no time to watch tv whatsoever… i really need to get DVR or something! You totally made me laugh when you said that everything on that channel is always so dated!! LOL It's such a mystery to me, i always wonder the same thing!! Haha just thinking of that woman's voice doing the narration… i mean, could it sound more expired if it tried?!?? lol

second of all, i know exactly what you mean about ftv! when i lived in canada i was just constantly astonished at the material they had. it is really shocking for such a fast paced industry!
