Wearing one of my favourite summer 08 purchases: a wilfred for aritzia ombré dress. I love comfortable and easy to wear dresses and this number in its silk fabric and slightly oversized fit is pretty much just that. not to mention ideal for layering, any time of year.
had it shortened about a year ago and even though it may not seem like it in these pictures, it’s now borderline too short without tights (is this the story of my life or what?! lol) but i rock it anyways on hot summer days…with flats. no need to make a delicate hemline situation any worse with heels.

Cute! And seriously I hate when that happens… I'm short and I get so frustrated when my clothes are too short and make me look skanky and fat – its awful!

awww that dress is adorable. i did the too short thing with a pair of jbrand lovestorys. they were never good after that…. boo.
it sucks that you couldn't find the top. i only ever saw the one top myself so it must have been older stock or a small shipment.
i wish i could find one in my size so i could wear it as a tunic.

I love aritzia!! I wish it existed in Montreal…*sigh* ..it's probably one of the least likely boutiques to open here though. I used to shop there all the time when I lived in Montreal. Lovely picks though miss

Oh lady what a FANTASTIC look!!! That dress is nothing short of adorable – the perfect summer item but looks just as fab with those black tights and that amazing leather jacket! I'm totally loving those Aldo wedges.. i totally remember when you got them! They're so perfect!
And thanks so much for such lovely words on my bday post! I know, how gorgeous are those 2 sisters?! lol they certainly don't go unnoticed! And seriously, even their brother is hot, i'm not kidding! They have some seriously powerful good-looking genes! haha
And if anyone would know how the lip color actually looked, it would be you! Strange cause it's actually a really bright pink lipstick and it just looked so weird on camera, like almost a creamy nude or something. I was kind of bummed about that. I'm really on the market now for a bright fuchsia, i think it would look amazing and so fresh for the summer… i can just picture it: an almost bare face, mascara galore and a bright fuchsia lip! hehe
Ugh and don't even mention that horrific second loss on tuesday! Seriously though, what the hell's going on?! We just can't score!! lol
