coming off the first of the Canadian summer’s long weekends, Victoria Day. Spent the most of it somewhere between lateeee nights, and not nearly enough sleep, but def not complaining! Highlights included: impromptu get togethers, somehow turning the Montreal Mirror’s best of 2011 list into a (drinking) game, hang outs on the rooftop chalet til the wee hours chatting life and everything in between– windows wide open, pouring rain as the soundtrack, BBQ party saturday night featuring magnolia bakery banana pudding courtesy of my bff who always outdoes herself…
summer playlists, vodka pink lemonade, meeting a local reader/fan in the most unexpected of places (still the most surreal experience: makes me realize i actually have a real audience (and you guys are a seriously cool, stylish bunch!), and sort of makes this whole online thing feel tangible and real in so many ways i’m often unaware of when sitting at my computer, posting), isabel marant worthy cut-offs (from zara) and inspired looks, resuscitating alexander wang’s brenda bag from winter hibernation, Guitar Hero rock outs, making the most of the weather and my go to summer uniform: shorts + sweaters + my fave sandals of the season so far, swapping my Nikon for BB camera and less premeditated pictures. So stoked, summer’s just beginning and it’s shaping up to be one for the books.

I bought those Zara sandals last weekend, can't wait for the weather in the UK to warm up enough so I can wear them! Love the pink shorts too.
