Outtakes of my Saturday night. My friend Rachel and I cooked the day away and co-hosted my fête in her and her fiancé’s ah!!mazing living quarters. The hostess with the absolute mostest, the attention she put into every detail of the fall harvest themed evening was unparalleled– eternally grateful to have such a solid group of friends who made it the perfect evening it was.
LE MENU:
Bobby Flay’s Grilled Eggplant salad (we added corn)
Arugula and pomegranate salad:
Toss arugula, pomegranate seeds, cucumber and finely chopped shallots
For the dressing: mix olive oil, white wine vinegar, honey, dijon, lemon juice, garlic, salt + pepper
Beet Salad:
Toss oven-roasted beets, horizontally sliced seedless red grapes, finely chopped shallots, toasted pine nuts with olive oil, lemon juice and salt. Top with sliced goat cheese.
Tyler Florence’s Amarone Osso Bucco Pot Roast served with boiled fingerling potatoes, drizzled with olive oil and a dash of salt.
